- Implemented the installation and successful use of SAW welding process,
- Developed, implemented, and tested over (80) ASME CODE weld procedures and PQR’s using welding processes GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, SAW and GTAW in the following steel materials: carbon, stainless, Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel, Duplex, and aluminum.
- Exceeded all metrics and KPI’s set out for the Project and Engineering Teams:
- increased BOM accuracy from 75% to 98%
- reduced drawing errors from 12% to 2%
- reduced the lead time of engineering package submittals from 6 weeks to 2.5 weeks
- Improved the average project on-time delivery rate from 75% to 90%
- Increased overall company’s contribution Margins from 26% to 33%
- Implemented LEAN principles in both the engineering and project teams (value stream mapping, process mapping, ‘lessons learned’, root cause analysis, elimination of ‘wastes’, 5S, & continuous improvements projects),
- Created, developed and implemented a set of ENGINEERING STANDARDS and PROCEDURES for the fabrication shop, engineering, project and procurement departments
